NSTA Conference Registration

Good day! We hope your school year is off to a good start and look forward to meeting together Saturday, October 24th to sharpen our skills and discuss our approaches to transporting students in challenging times!

We have looked at organizational strengths, leadership, and team-building.

Now, we would like to consider empowerment and partnership!

Friday evening, October 23rd, we’ll have a social gathering at Cunningham’s on the Lake.

Saturday, October 24th, we’ll conduct a business meeting from 7:30am – 8:00am, and will fill our open executive committee positions.

Karla Oard, from the Ken Blanchard Companies, will train us in Situational Leadership®II, a proven, time-tested leadership model that has been used to train over 5 million managers in the world’s most respected organizations.

We’ll sit down together for a wonderful dinner and then take some time to visit with vendors.

Dr. Brooke Envick, a business professor from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will present on Social Contracts, a tool for developing employee commitment.

We’ll spend the remainder of the afternoon having a roundtable discussion regarding our current challenges with transporting students; and, what we need to do to be in compliance with the new Drug and Alcohol Clearing House, Department of Transportation Audits, 80-day bus inspections, and the Rule 91 final update.

Matt Quiring will close our conference as he discusses the Mutual Aid Directory and NSTA vision.
